Team and driver preview

McLaren:     McLaren is of course again the topfavorite for the race in Monaco
None of the drivers have ever won here so they are very motivated for their first win in Monaco
Ferrari:         Ferrari is hoping for the same results as last year when both drivers ended up on the podium. If it's raining in Monaco Michael Schumacher will be (almost) as compatible as McLaren.
Williams:      The FW20 isn't improved a lot so we can not expect a podium place for Williams, although Heinz-Harald Frentzen was on pole last year.
Benetton:      Fisichella has tested a week so maybe he can improve and grab some points.Wurz is getting better and better and if the car can handle a whole race, he can finish on a good position.
Sauber:         Sauber is fifth in the standings so that's a whole improvement. Their car is almost as good as the Williams so we can expect a lot of the most experienced drivers couple in the F1.
Stewart:        Stewart was second last year but their must happen a miracle to be second again this year. Maybe their bridgestone tyres and Barrichello will help them to get to a point.
Jordan:         It's a very disappointing season so far for the English team. Damon Hill can compete a whole race but can't get further than a 8th place, while R. Schumacher is often quicker than the 1996 World Champion but has a problem to finish races.
Prost:            Same thing as Jordan. Both drivers have a lot of talent and according to Prost the car is also very good. The main problem is the gearbox which is very unreliable.
Tyrrell:         Takagi is doing very well in the Tyrrell but the way to points is very long. Rosset is way to slow but will drive in Monaco because the circuit is too short to be out of the 107%.
Arrows:         If one of the drivers will finish that would be a great achievement for Arrows because their car has finished only one time this year.
Minardi:       Minardi is hoping to finish the race with both of the cars and maybe get a point when other drivers will fail to finish.
